After the grand wedding at the Iskcon Temple , veteran actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini hosted a gala reception for their daughter Esha at Mumbai’s Intercontinental The Lalit in Andheri.

It was a lovely creation by Rocky S for the gorgeous newlywed Esha . She cut a pretty picture in the Pink ” lehenga ” and corset Blouse embroidered with Swarovski crystals. We simply adored the add on which was there in the form of a pink flower for her hair. CUTE.

Bharat looked every inch classy in a smart black tuxedo with a white shirt which was designed by Simone Khambatta.

For the evergreen beauty Hemaji , it was a cream embroidered work saree designed by Neeta Lulla. The proud father of the bride was seen in a black suit over a white shirt . Ahana looked pretty in a pink lehenga – choli.

The Guest list included everyone from Bollywood to Politicians .Few names from the guest list are Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu, Rekha, Feroz Khan, Zeenat Aman, Jeetendra, Salman Khan, Tabu and Vidya Balan from Bollywood, Chaggan Bhujbal, BJP leaders LK Advani, Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitly from the Politicians list.

Tanuja was seen with her beautiful daughters Kajol and Tanisha . Also seen were Madhuri Dixit with husband Dr Nene , Sridevi with Boney Kapoor , Mandira Bedi with husband as well as Anupam and Kirron Kher.

While we loved everyone from the B- town but we simply cannot miss mentioning Tabu who looked absolutely stunning in a yellow colored salwar suit. Browse through our latest collection of salwar suits, you may like to add something like this to your wardrobe.

Agent Vinod’s Item Song : Kareena Kapoor or Maryam Zakaira??

Bebo once again throbbed the heart of many with her sensuous moves and sizzling latka jhatkas in the song Dil Mera Muft Ka from the bollywood film Agent Vinod. While the bollywood is buzzing with rumours of this Kapoor girl settling down with beau Saif Ali Khan , Kareena Kapoor is setting the silver screen on fire with her glamorous mujra.

While one was enough to raise the room temperatures , you can very well imagine what will happen if there were two to do so. Along with Bebo, there was the newbie Maryam Zakaira grooving in this item number. And since then the entire country have been raving about this super glamorous girl. If you still haven’t seen this video then you are surely missing out on something.

Both these beauties looked divine in Manish Malhotra creations. Bebo was seen in red designer sharara while it was a blue A- line lehenga for Maryam. We think both these ladies looked super hot , what about you? Traditional Indian jewellery completed their look.

For all you gorgeous ladies out there , who are a fan of tradition Indian jewelleries , Sareez has launched a entire range of beautiful jewel creations. Browse through our online store and get what you are looking for.

Wedding Bells for Reema Sen

Shaadi’s are always a glitzy affair and this Bollywood shaadi season continues with another addition to the list. South Indian actress Reema Sen tied the knots with Delhi Based Hotelier Shiv Karan Singh on 13th March.

Weddings always make us happy and this was yet another reason for us to smile. Reema gave us different looks in all her functions. She looked amazing right from the Mehendi to the Wedding to her Reception. We saw the pretty Bride in a pink lehenga choli for her Mehendi ceremony.

For the wedding it was na ensemble by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The red designer lehenga was double layered and had golden embroidery all over. We at Sareez believe that a Wedding is the most beautiful day of a girl’s life and she looks her best on this day. Reema Sen was no exception. She dazzled and looked utterly divine.

She surprised us by her ultimate choice of a yellow colored lehenga for the reception. It was traditional and yet it gave a sense of fun and frolic. Once again she looked spectacular.

We wish the couple a Happy Married life ahead.

If your D-Day is round the corner , then what are you waiting for? Sareez gives you the opportunity to get these pretty Lehengas made at a convenient price. We understand that it’s a special day and we would love to share this day with you and make it more special.

Bollywood Lovebirds Ritesh-Genelia Sangeet Ceremony

Ritesh and Genelia in their Sangeet CeremonyThis wedding season had a great start with our Bollywood lovebirds Ritesh Deshmukh & Genelia D’souza getting ready to get married. They say marriages are made in heaven and we feel it’s rightly said seeing this cute couple together on their sangeet. This soon to be couple had their sangeet ceremony this Tuesday and they both dazzled people around them.

Genelia looked striking in a white lehenga choli with peach embellishments, with detailed stonework on her lehnga and chunni. She looked elegant and we loved everything about her , starting from her hair do to her jewellery.

The couple had been going together almost ten years now since the release of their movie Tujhe Meri Kasam ( 2003)

Also while we are still talking about this lovely pair , we would like to show you what the couple wore on their pre – marriage bash. While Riteish was in a dinner suit , Genelia sported a pretty anarkali suit in turquoise and blue.

We wish the couple a great life ahead.

Grab huge discounts on Indian Traditional Wear… Go Online today!

If you are thinking of buying a violet saree or a viscose lehenga for your friend’s wedding, we suggest you check out a few interesting designs on any online portal before making a trip to the nearest shopping mall. You can also choose certain specific sarees based on the type of event you plan to attend.

A plain border violet saree would look very elegant for a formal setting while a floral printed saree would be just apt for an informal setting. As every apparel merchant will tell you, a violet georgette saree is one of the most sought after items in any saree store.

A viscose lehenga is also a good option if you don’t want to wear a saree.Viscose lehengas actually refer to those lehengas which are made of a fabric that consists of artificial fibres helping the fabric to breathe easily making it quite suitable for Indian conditions. Another important quality of viscose is that it dyes quite easily and is therefore a good bet for making printed lehengas.

I will not elaborate further on these excellent fabrics, it would be much better if you check out an online saree portal that would introduce you to a mind-boggling variety of designs in viscose lehengas that will help you look the best on your D-day.

Add some sizzle to your collection with Jamawar & Jacquard Sarees!

You must have heard of Jamawar and Jacquard Sarees but perhaps you were so used to wearing chiffon and georgette sarees that the thought of buying a Jamawar Saree or a Jacquard Saree must not have crossed your mind. However, there is no harm in experimenting with a Jamawar, Jacquard or Floral Printed Saree to add some sizzle and sparkle to your wardrobe.

One can easily find Jamawar, Jacquard and Floral printed sarees at any online saree portal and even pay for them instantly via a credit or debit card and also have them delivered to your doorstep.Buying an expensive Jamawar saree online can be a very sensible proposition as they not only come with doorstep deliveries but also prove to be economical as online retailers pass on the savings made on rental and real estate to consumers who desire a good bargain.

What most people don’t know is that the soft drape of a Jacquard Saree suits a lot of body types and is actually quite flattering to the female form.No wonder women of all ages  choose Jacquard sarees  for their elegance and grace. Jamawar and especially Pashmina Jamawar Sarees are highly sought after items in the developed markets of the West. In the medieval ages, royals often wore gowns and shawls made of Jamawar and these sarees trace their origin to the Jamawar region in Kashmir. Weavers in Jamawar have mastered the art of weaving Jamavar Sarees with intricate designs and the price tags attached to these sarees often reflects the hard work that has gone into making them.

If a Jamawar or Jacquard saree doesn’t suit you, then you can however opt for a floral printed saree with intricate resham work or gold metallic embroidery for your next party as these sarees are known to accentuate the beauty of the wearer.

I hope the information I have provided in this blog helps you to take the right purchase decision. Do share your experiences about these sarees on this platform.

I would love to hear from you !

Useful tips to keep your saris in perfect shape!

Saris have always held a special appeal for women of all ages in the Indian society. Indian women with their voluptuous bodies look perfect in a six yard sari that accentuates their curves and makes them look gorgeous. Even you may be having quite a few sarees in your wardrobe that may have been gifted from close family members and these might also include kanjeevaram and benarasi sarees that are very expensive and may not last long if they are not stored properly.

The first step in maintaining a durable saree collection is to keep washed and unwashed sarees separately. Keep sarees that you wear regularly and those which you wear for special occasions in separate drawers and place moth repellants in such places. If you have a lot of silk sarees in your collection, then the best option to ensure their longevity is to dryclean them. Machine-wash or hand wash may spoil these sarees and in my opinion, hand-washing works best for traditional Indian sarees. Once these sarees have been dry-cleaned you should not make the mistake of hanging them in the cupboard, instead you should fold these sarees and wrap them in some soft cloth or dupatta made of mulmul. There are special saree covers that are available in the market that may hold six to eight sarees. If you have a lot of cotton sarees in your collection that require starching ensure that no starch remains on the saree as it may attract moths that will not only spoil the cotton sarees but also other sarees placed alongside. Napathalene balls serve as the best moth repellents to preserve cotton sarees.

Your saree collection may have burgeoned over the years and each sari may have a separate set of memories attached to it but if you don’t take proper care of your collection, your investments in terms of time and money spent on these sarees may go waste. If you adhere to the precautions outlined above, then you can be rest assured that your sarees will retain their luster and sheen for a long time and can even be preserved for the next generation.
