Even though the mercury is soaring but we are not lazy to sport on jewelry. Jewellery is a symbol of beauty. It has always been imperative for women. Spring summer season of 2013 Women’s Fashion Jewelry Trends is full of contrasts. They all share a desire for individualism, brightness and impressive size. The designs are mainly focused on: Indo Western and Natural materials.
Let’s have a tour to some pieces of our jewelry which would give you an idea what is “in”.

Colored Jewellery

Pieces above are specially designed so that it does not look flashy but classic instead. This season it’s all about class and comfort. Crystal Jewelry has become a fad as it can be both teamed with ethnic and Western Outfit.
Only jewellery is not sufficient to make you feel great. Jewellery is worn with traditional Indian outfits such as sarees, Salwar kameez etc, and at present is also worn with western outfits such as jeans, skirts etc.

Bipasha was next in line to wear a Sabyasachi creation. We loved Kajol who chose a Raakesh Agarwal saree for the occasion. The saree was a stunning black designer piece in reverse drape which was paired with embroidered sleeveless saree blouse. Gul Panag kept it simple in a designer white saree paired with halter neck blouse.

We loved Urvashi Sharma for being a stunner in saree . She glowed in a metallic designer shimmer saree and full sleeves saree blouse. The saree had a tricolour border in pink , silver and blue. We loved it. What about you? Nishabd famed Jiah Khan opted for an anarkali salwar suit and looked gorgeous in it.

A Bollywood Love Story – Ritesh and Genelia Sangeet Ceremony

While Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’souza looked breathtaking in their sangeet ceremony , our Bollywood stars were all set to the rock this festive occasion with their charming presence. We’ll tell you who was wearing what .

While some stick to salwar suits , others went ahead and draped a saree. We loved both. Shamita Shetty was in a orange colored salwar suit with thick border and she looked pretty. Hers was designed by Neeta Lulla. Zarine Khan looked stunning a pink suit again by Neeta Lulla. Another one who made an appearance in suit was Sameera Reddy. Hers was an anarkali salwar kameez in shades of pink and orange.

Arpita Khan was in a Sabyasachi anarkali collection with a maharani neck. We loved her attire totally. Neelam Kothari was in a blue suit which had a thick velvet border . Mana Shetty was also in blue and velvet , the only difference being her entire kurti was velvet. Sonali Bendre was in a Abu Sandeep as well as Neetu Kapoor .

Few of the stunning women graced the occasion in the traditonal lehenga and we loved them to the core. Our favourite was Asin who looked radiant in a Color blocked lehenga. Her lehenga was yellow with thick golden border. What added to it was the dupatta which we loved. If you love the Dupatta too , well We at sareez are here to get you the same look . Trust us , you will be a trend setter among your friends. Amrita Arora , Dia Mirza and Anusha Dandekar were also seen in Lehengas.

Gauri was the centre of attraction in a Manish Malhotra creation. We think she looked absolutely stunning. Sophie dazzled everyone in a white saree with red blouse. Another Khan lady , Malaika looked sizzling as always in a laid back blue colored saree with heavy work in golden.

We loved everyone , some more than the others. What do you think? Whose clothes did you like the best? Share your view and keep watching this space for more insides of bollywood and Indian ethnic wear.

Bollywood Lovebirds Ritesh-Genelia Sangeet Ceremony

Ritesh and Genelia in their Sangeet CeremonyThis wedding season had a great start with our Bollywood lovebirds Ritesh Deshmukh & Genelia D’souza getting ready to get married. They say marriages are made in heaven and we feel it’s rightly said seeing this cute couple together on their sangeet. This soon to be couple had their sangeet ceremony this Tuesday and they both dazzled people around them.

Genelia looked striking in a white lehenga choli with peach embellishments, with detailed stonework on her lehnga and chunni. She looked elegant and we loved everything about her , starting from her hair do to her jewellery.

The couple had been going together almost ten years now since the release of their movie Tujhe Meri Kasam ( 2003)

Also while we are still talking about this lovely pair , we would like to show you what the couple wore on their pre – marriage bash. While Riteish was in a dinner suit , Genelia sported a pretty anarkali suit in turquoise and blue.

We wish the couple a great life ahead.

Bollywood Apsara Awards 2012

vidya balan in sabyasachi mukherjee saree at apsara awards 2012Just one word , WOW…. Apsara awards 2012 left us speechless when the entire Bollywood beauties turned up in traditional Indian attire. While some sticked to their trademark style , others went ahead and did a fabulous job. An award function’s red carpet is no less than a Fashion Gala when these beautiful girls left no stone unturned to give their best.

Out of all the ladies draped in a saree , our favourite was Anushka Sharma who looked a stunner in a Sabyasachi saree. It was a half net , half velvet saree with golden borders. She teamed it up with a full sleeves black saree blouse with heavy work. Priyanka on the other hand kept it simple in a plain white saree. Amisha Patel looked hot in a net black saree with halter neck saree blouse.

Although Vidya Balan was as usual in a Sabyasachi Mukherjee but it was way different from the sarees she had been wearing lately. It was a pretty designer embroidery saree with short sleeves saree blouse in round neck pattern. Sameera Reddy looked elegant and chic in a silver designer embroidery shimmer faux georgette saree with mirror and embellished border work paired with designer embroidered sleeveless saree blouse. This saree was a number by Falguni and Shane peacock. Other ladies who made an appearance in a saree was Mahi Gill , Divya Dutta and Ragini Khanna.

Sarees : Bollywood’s all time favourite – 18th Color Screen Awards

priyanka chopra in indian sareeWith the award seasons starting its time again for the Bollywood beauties to be in limelight with their stunning looks and garments. The 18th annual Colors Screen Awards was the first award function of the season and many of them made us happy when they chose to wear the Indian ethnic dresses. While some dressed up prettily in gowns and dresses , it was Indian Traditional attire that ruled the fashion scene of the awards.

Our favourite was Priyanka Chopra who wore a Manish Malhotra saree . It was sheer mesh saree, embellished with sequined patchwork and a maroon velvet border. Katrina Kaif blowed our mind with her ‘sizzling in pink ‘ look. While her look once again brought back the memories of ‘teri ore ‘ from Singh Is King yet we are not complaining. She paired her saree with a gold sleeveless sequined saree blouse. After net and sequence it was time for some velvety look which was given to us by Sonali Bendre. Dressed in a Abu Jani – Sandeep Khosla, Sonali donned an ink blue saree with emerald and green velvet trimming. She teamed up with a velvet blouse.

We think all the three ladies looked stunning , what about you. Pick a favourite and tell us why you liked her the best.
