Sridevi at Marrakech Film Festival

Sridevi at Marrakech Film Festival

Sridevi has ruled the hearts of many for decades and she continues to do so with her style and elegance. She is truly an epitome of beauty and has delivered many unforgettable roles in her filmy career. She made a comeback with last year with English Vinglish and once again claimed the title of the heartthrob of Bollywood.

Sridevi is a charming lady and what makes her look more appealing is her graceful choice of dressing. In the recent times, she has given us many such traditional looks and therefore we could not stop ourselves from mentioning few of her appearances.

For the premiere of English Vinglish, Sridevi was seen in a Sabyasachi creation and she looked breathtakingly beautiful. On the sets of Surkshetra, she was seen in a Manish Malhotra creation. It seems Sridevi has a preference for Sabyasachi and Manish Malhotra.
She made an appearance in a lime green sari by Manish Malhotra at T. Subbarami Reddy’s Maheshwari-Parameshwari INOX Theatres Inauguration and again in a creation by the same designer at Umang Police Show 2013.

Sridevi graced the red carpet of Zee Cine Awards 2013 in a Sabyasachi off-white sheer sari with white floral embroidery and a wide black and gold border. Small pearls adorned the outer border of the sari.

The most coveted actress of the silver screen, Sridevi is back to set the screen on fire and we wish her all the best in her future endeavours.

Kareena Kapoor In Halkat Jawani

You have seen her as the Chammak Challo who said her Dil was Muft ka , and now she is back to make your heart race with her latest raunchy number ‘Halkat Jawani’.

Kareena has surely been on roll with her line of item numbers coming in quick succession. But kudos to her for being entirely different in all the three songs.

Bebo looks sizzling hot in the Manish Malhotra outfit. The fuchsia colored sari is worn till knee length and has a string thin pallu. The black blouse with a big bindi completes her look. Kareena looks fanatbulous and we are sure she is going to set the silver screen on fire with her latke – jhatkes.

In her own words ,” This is the raunchiest number I have ever done. There’s so much exposure.” The song has been sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and choreographed by ace choreographer Ganesh Acharya.

More than television, it is  Bollywood that has taken the lead in promoting  the trend of lehenga sarees that have become the norm in most item numbers.

Lehenga  sarees  offer a  lot of comfort and  one can wear a  lehenga saree without  much of an effort  unlike a traditional saree. It is  the perfect garment to dress up in a jiffy when you are short of time. All one needs to do is to  wear a petticoat and slip into it  and fasten the zip along the waist. The open end of the pallu can be draped around the shoulder and you are ready to go. The centre piece of any lehenga saree that you buy online will be a matching blouse that has a lot of embroidery and designs carved on it.

Most online portals stipulate that you send across your measurements by filling a   form during the checkout process and the stitched blouse will be sent along with your chosen saree.
