The third Gr8! Women Awards 2013 took place at Hotel Lalit in Mumbai and it saw an
a la mode attendance. When the women of substance come out in the honour of women, you expect nothing less than spectacular. And this awards night stood up to our expectation with all the mixing of the yesteryear actresses and present day divas.

Asin looked striking in a green anarkali which she teamed with pearl drop earrings and a glittering clutch. Gorgeous Raveena Tandon donned a white bling-dotted saree with an elegant border. Maine Pyaar Kiya famed Bhagyashree looked quite a stunner in a saree and blouse. Seen in a multi hued saree was designer Nishka. Loved her look. Ace designer Farah Khan kept it simple in a purple churidar kurta and she looked charming as always.

Our favourite for the night was Alka Yagnik who perked it up in a colourful saree by Masaba Gupta.
Veteran actress Mala Sinha who is famous for giving hits like Ankhen, Dhool Ka Phool and Gumrah made a surprise rare red carpet appearance. Shobha Khote looked festive in a traditional silk saree and was seen with her daughter Bhawana Balsawar who was in an ornate lehenga-kurta ensemble. Former Miss India and Bollywood actress Sonu Walia was seen in attendance in a beautiful white saree embroidered with roses.

This gorgeous Mommy is a perfect example of how to keep it simple yet stylish. Aftersighting her in a Masaba creation in the latest episode of the show, we could not refrain ourselves from dedicating a blog to her true style sense.

She has been seen in various designers’ creation. Seen in a pink saree by Manish Malhotra she looked stylishly amazing. For another episode, it was a salwar suit by Pankaj & Nidhi in blue. It was a Preeti S Kapoor for yet another episode. The green colored anarkali made her look Picture Perfect.

Recently, Bollywood saw the screening of many movies which was graced by our B-town divas in gorgeous Indian Wear.

DAVID
Aditi Rao Hydari attended the screening of the movie in a floor grazing burgundy gown by ace designer Rohit Bal. It had a detailed bodice with a touch of gold on the duppata. The colour looked lovely on her and she looked classy.Mini Mathur was seen in simple black sari and she created magic with her simplicity.

MAI
Looking beautiful in an Anita Dogre lehenga was Shraddha Kapoor at the premier of Mai. Kajol stunned everyone in a Sabyasachi sari with her hair styled in a Grecian updo. Flaunting her signature style was Rekha, who was seen in a silk sari.
For Tanishaa, it was a beige brocade suit by Payal Singhal. It had a colourful border which was teamed up with a pink chudidar. Sonam Kapoor attended the premiere in a clock print sari by Kallol Datta and as usual she hit the mark of being perfect.

MIDNIGHT’S CHILDREN
Konkana Sen Sharma walked in wearing a lovely sari and always looked perfect. Shriya Saran wore a white lehenga by Manish Malhotra.

KAI PO CHE
Maria Goretti attended Kai Po Che premiere wearing a Payal Singhal sari in the blue and red border. Veteran actress Neena Gupta was seen with designer daughter Masaba. Mini Mathur looked graceful in a white colored suit.

The latest award show to take place this Awards season was the Renault Star Guild Awards 2013. Studded with all the biggies of Bollywood, the award show, took place at the Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai on 16th of February.

The awards night was hosted successfully by Salman Khan for whom it was the first time when he was hosting an Awards night. Dressed in black, he looked amazingly stylish and was quite entertaining. We bring you a list of actress who decided to go traditional for the night.

Seen in a Purple sari by Sabyasachi, Vidya Balan bagged the award for the best actress. She teamed up the sari with a glossy black blouse. Another actress seen in a creation by the same designer was evergreen actress Sridevi. She was seen in a black kurta with heavy embroidery and a lehenga. It was refreshing to see Anushka Sharma in a stunning black and pink sari designed by Manish Malhotra. Anushka went for jhumkis, bindi, and big kohled-eyes like a traditional Indian woman chooses to dress up for festivities
Sonakshi Sinha was seen in a creation by the designer duo Abu Sandeep. She looked refreshing in the white embroidered anarkali. Aditi Rao Hydari was seen in a Payal Singhal designed peach sari.

The Oscars of Bollywood, the 58thFilmfare Awards was recently held in Mumbai and we saw the pretty ladies of Tinsel town sashaying down the red carpet looking their best. The night saw a mix of Western as well as Indian wear.
Looking drop dead gorgeous was Chitrangda Sinha who took the traditional route and donned an Anand Kabra creation of yellow and gold. The youngest debut of this year, Alia Bhatt opted for a Manish Malhotra design and she carried the look quite well. Vicky Donor fame Yami Gautam was seen a stunning Tarun Tahiliani designed corset dress which was structured like a lehenga in champagne gold.
Vidya Balan continued her love for Sabyasachi by yet again wearing his design. Aditi Rao was seen a metallic grey sari while Di aMirza donned an ivory colour anarkali by Gaurav Gupta.

Sridevi has ruled the hearts of many for decades and she continues to do so with her style and elegance. She is truly an epitome of beauty and has delivered many unforgettable roles in her filmy career. She made a comeback with last year with English Vinglish and once again claimed the title of the heartthrob of Bollywood.

Sridevi is a charming lady and what makes her look more appealing is her graceful choice of dressing. In the recent times, she has given us many such traditional looks and therefore we could not stop ourselves from mentioning few of her appearances.

For the premiere of English Vinglish, Sridevi was seen in a Sabyasachi creation and she looked breathtakingly beautiful. On the sets of Surkshetra, she was seen in a Manish Malhotra creation. It seems Sridevi has a preference for Sabyasachi and Manish Malhotra.
She made an appearance in a lime green sari by Manish Malhotra at T. Subbarami Reddy’s Maheshwari-Parameshwari INOX Theatres Inauguration and again in a creation by the same designer at Umang Police Show 2013.

Sridevi graced the red carpet of Zee Cine Awards 2013 in a Sabyasachi off-white sheer sari with white floral embroidery and a wide black and gold border. Small pearls adorned the outer border of the sari.

The most coveted actress of the silver screen, Sridevi is back to set the screen on fire and we wish her all the best in her future endeavours.

The B-town came together to salute the Mumbai police at Andheri Sports Complex in western suburbs of Mumbai last weekend. The show was a star studded affair which saw all the Bollywood biggies as well as cricket stars.

The dazzling divas of the town took the glamour quotient notches higher with their amazing style and elegance. Looking breathtakingly beautiful was Deepika Padukone in a black and white gold Sabyasachi sari. Dressed in a white outfit with a hint of pink was sizzling actress Katrina Kaif. Showing off a Manish Malhotra sari was Sridevi. Another actress to be seen in a Sabya was Vidya Balan and looked radiant as always. Tabu made an appearance in a Abu Sandeep designer suit.

THE COUPLE DRESS UP IN THE SAME MANNER AS SAIFS PARENTS

KAREENA AND SAIF IN THEIR TROSSEAU

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s five year courtship has culminated in a week of wedding
celebrations. Brand new begum Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s wedding was high
on the opulent quotient, with royalty etched in every shred of the wedding functions.
As for the Bollywood’s new blushing bride, she looked drop dead gorgeous in all the
functions. Kareena wore Manish Malhotra for most of her functions, except the exchange of
vows on Tuesday.

After Kareena, it was actress Vidya Balan who joined the married brigade in Bollywood.
She married her long time beau and UTV Motion Pictures head Siddharth Roy Kapur. As
expected, the wedding functions were a hush hush affair. Only relatives and close friends
were invited for the ceremony. Veteran actress Rekha, who is known to be very close to
Vidya, was the only person from the film fraternity at the mehendi ceremony.

For the Sangeet Kareena adorned an orange and gold lehenga sari designed by Manish
Malhotra, with emeralds as jewellery, and Saif went the nawab way with a white Nehru
jacket worn over a kurta.

Saif Ali Khan’s outfits have been designed by Raghavendra Rathore. He wore a brocade
achkan with a pocket handkerchief that matched Kareena’s outfit for the wedding. He wore
a plain black bandhgala at the Delhi reception.

For the mehendi ceremony, Vidya wore her favourite designer Sabyasachi. She draped the
mustard yellow saree in Bengali style with floral jewellery. For the wedding, she dressed up
like a traditional Tamil bride in a nine yard Kanjeevaram saree with traditional South Indian
jewellery.

Sareez wishes both the couple a very happy married life.

The B- Town divas have been working round the clock to promote their movies. These beauties went all the ethnic for their promotion.

After Kareena And Sridevi were seen in sorbet color sarees to promote their respective movies , we saw Bipasha Basu and Esha Gupta looking breathtaking while promoting their movie Raaz 3. Bips looked great in the cream suit as well as the red color Nikasha. As for Esha , it was a white color suit with embellishments.

Like Bips , Kareena also gave us another look in Indian wear by Manish Malhotra on the sets of Jhalak Dikhlaja. She wore a emerald green anarkali kurta with a palazzo.

Newcomer Ileana who is debuting in bollywood with Barfi , donned a sombre halter neck anarkali by Shantanu & Nikhil on the sets of Indian Idol. We think Ileana looks great in ethnic wear. Also seen were Katrina promoting her movie on the same set. It was a stunning creation by Anamika Khanna.

The International Jewellery week 2012 was the perfect destination for all our stylist and trendy readers. Showcasing the work of the best jewellery designers of the country , IIJW roped in the leading b – town actresses to reign on the catwalk.

Stunning Sushmita Sen walked the ramp for Birdichand Ghanshyam Das jewels. Sonal Chauhan
sashayed the ramp covered with jewellery from head to toe for the designer duo Dipti and Amisha.
She wore Beautiful Rani-har with polki, Emeralds and pearls, along with a smaller neck-piece studded
with Diamonds and Emeralds. A beautiful piece was used in her hair as well.

Vicky Donor fame Yami Gautam was the show stopper for D. Navinchandra Kripalni ‘s collection
Zayna. For newbie Zarine Khan , it was YS 18 jewel collection. Malaika Arora Khan walked the ramp
for KGK Entice Pvt. Ltd. Dia Mirza sizzled the ramp for Goelcha Jewels necklace and she looked drop
dead gorgeous.

For the finale it was the gorgeous Madhuri Dixit and Sonam Kapoor who in true sense was the epitome of style and beauty. Hypnotizing the fan with her dazzling smile was Dhak Dhak girl Maduri Dixit who looked drop dead gorgeous in a Anamika Khanna outfit. She displayed the magnificent PC Jeweller’s Polki Raani Haar collar and choker edged with pearls to thunderous applause. Sonam Kapoor , who is also the brand
ambassador of IIJW 2012 looked stunning again in a gorgeous Anamika Khanna outfit. She wore a brilliant Polki necklace with a tasselled pendant, along with rows of intricate kadas on hands, a Maang Tikka and small ear studs.

It was one of the most spectacular shows that Mumbai had seen. IIJW 2012 comprised of 50 designers, 33 shows and was a great platform for budding talent in the jewellery business.
