INDIAN ATHLETES IN TRADITIONAL ATTIRE IN THE LONDON OLYMPICS 2012
Gagan Narang won the first medal for India in Olympics ,2012 and increased the hopes of millions of Indians to get many more medals in this Olympics. And while we are still talking about the Olympics, we are sure you did watch the opening ceremony.
Did you also get as excited as we did when the Indian contingent marched on by? Dressed in yellow saree, the ladies looked elegant and formal. This is the diversity this great Indian attire shows. Be it a wedding or a family function or a formal event, sarees serve all these purposes.
The ladies wore a yellow colored saree with pink border and the men complemented the look with yellow pagdi.
Vibrant and bright….this was definitely a cheery start.
